Nuclear safety: Prompt-fission γ-ray spectra from the reaction 235U(nth,f)

15 July, 2013

JRC scientists in collaboration with Chalmers University of Technology report on the precise measurement of prompt spectral fission g-rays from the reaction 235U(nth, f). The project was carried out in response to a high priority data request of the OECD Nuclear Energy Agency. The new data renders possible further advancement towards a save and economically viable energy supply.
