Meat quality: JRC launches call for laboratories to validate method measuring boar taint

The study will aim to validate two analytical methods for the detection of boar taint marker substances in pork tissue. Laboratories interested in participating in validating either of the two methods are invited to enrol by completing the form and forwarding it to  

A planning workshop in June will invite chosen participants to discuss the design of the study and details of the proposed methods. Participation is free of charge, and travel and accommodation costs will be covered by the JRC-IRMM.
