NUSIMEP-7: Uranium isotope amount ratios in uranium particles

NUSIMEP-7 is an interlaboratory comparison for all laboratories involved in uranium particle analysis. Particularly, also for the IAEA network of analytical laboratories for environmental sampling (NWAL). 

Participating laboratories in NUSIMEP-7 receive two test samples of uranium particles on a graphite planchet with undisclosed isotope amount ratio values n(234U)/n(238U), n(235U)/n(238U) and n(236U)/n(238U).

The participants’ measurement results will be evaluated against the certified reference values. Full confidentiality is guaranteed with respect to the link between measurement results and the participants’ identity.

The participation fee is € 200, including dispatch.

Due to the nature of this comparison only a limited number of samples are available. Samples will be allocated to participants in order of registration until the stock of NUSIMEP-7 samples is exhausted.
