Collaborating organisations
TrainMiC® is a European programme for Life-Long Learning which addresses the implementation of ISO/IEC-17025 for chemical measurements in support of EU legislation (Training in Metrology in Chemistry). It operates across many parts of Europe (19 countries) via national or regional teams. Authorised trainers in the different countries provide the training on a voluntary basis. Inside one country, one or several collaborating organisations can support the deployment of TrainMiC® in various ways, such as:
- By providing logistical support to enable TrainMiC® events inside the country (e.g. by making available a training room, by acting as a local organizer of such events, by promoting these training events);
- By having staff members acting as national trainer or working as a member of one of the European TrainMiC® boards.
Organisations can be formally recognised as TrainMiC® collaborating organisations and their contribution will be mentioned on the www.trainmic.org website. They will also be invited to sign a Collaboration Agreement with the European Commission, Joint Research Centre, Institute for Reference Materials and Measurements. Should your organisation be interested, please send a letter expressing your interest to:
- Prof. K. Maruszewski, European Commission, Joint Research Centre, Institute for Reference Materials and Measurements, Retieseweg 111, Geel 2440, Belgium
