Project Events

A series of training events (with typically 40-50 participants) will be open to Turkish beneficiaries working (or studying) in either TÜBİTAK, TAEK or other governmental bodies, industrial laboratories and universities. Download the list of events here[227Kb]. Certain rules for event registration will apply:

• Phase 1 - Registration for TÜBİTAK and TAEK: 15% of the possible places each.

• Phase 2 - Registration: 70% open to all other (Turkish) stakeholders/end-users, with the registration being handled by the JRC Event Registration System.

• Phase 3 - Confirmation: an applicant's place is confirmed by the event organiser.

Please consult the EMIT website regularly for registration details of the event you are interested in. Registration will typically be possible 6 weeks before each event.

 EMIT workshop S04-10: Proficiency testing and statistical evaluation

In the frame of the Europe and Metrology in Turkey project, a two day workshop entitled "Proficiency testing and statistical evaluation" will be held at TÜBİTAK BÜTAL, Bursa, Turkey for 30 participants.  EMIT workshop S04-11: Statistics and uncertainty determination for radionuclide applications

In the frame of the Europe and Metrology in Turkey project, a 3 day workshop entitled "Statistics and uncertainty determination for radionuclide applications" will be held at Ege Üniversitesi, İzmir for 30 participants. EMIT workshop S03-11: Multi-label Liquid Scintillation Counting

18 - 29 June, 2012
Geel, Belgium
In the frame of the Europe and Metrology in Turkey project, a 10 day workshop entitled "Multi-label Liquid Scintillation Counting" will be held at the radionuclide laboratories, EC-JRC-IRMM, Geel, Belgium for five participants. EMIT Concluding Conference (S05-15)

11 - 13 June, 2012
İstanbul, Turkey
A 3 day conference to mark the achievements of the EU programme of pre-accession assistance entitled "Improving chemical and ionising radiation metrology in Turkey" will be held in İstanbul for 300 participants. EMIT workshop S03-24: Dosimetry and Calibration Procedures for Diagnostic Radiology

In the frame of the Europe and Metrology in Turkey project, a 5 day workshop entitled "Dosimetry and Calibration Procedures for Diagnostic Radiology" will be held at Physikalisch Technische Bundesanstalt (PTB), Braunschweig, Germany for six participants.
