Activities

IRMM develops and produces reference materials, develops and validates methods of analysis, organises interlaboratory comparisons, carries out chemical reference measurements and measures and evaluates neutron data.

Research at IRMM is focused on research topics of particular relevance to European policies. The basis for the current work programme is the JRC multi-annual programme within the European Commission's 7th Framework Programme. The full work programmes of IRMM can be viewed in the JRC Project Knowledge System.
