The IRMM management system is certified according to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 standards within the following scope:

Execution and management of research and development activities towards highest quality measurement standards, to support European policies in the areas of life sciences, food, environment, agriculture, health, industrial competitiveness and nuclear safety and security.

Accreditations

The Standards for Innovation and sustainable Development unit of IRMM is accredited according to ISO Guide 34 ‘General requirements for the competence of reference material producers’ and according to ISO/IEC 17025 'General requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories'.

- IRMM was the first European reference material producer to obtain accreditation according to ISO Guide 34.

 

The Standards for Food Bioscience unit of IRMM has also acquired accreditations according to ISO/IEC 17025 'General requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories' and ISO/IEC 17043 'Conformity assessment -- General requirements for proficiency testing'.
